Volunteering Time & Talents on Juneteenth
Juneteenth is the nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Being a federal holiday, Prevail Bank offices were closed, but Prevail Bank employees were busy. They chose different organizations to volunteer at, giving their time, talents and wisdom to those in need.
For the fourth consecutive year, employees participated in Prevail’s Juneteenth Day of Service (June 19). Altogether, 110 team members volunteered at 18 locations statewide, making a meaningful impact in our communities.
Below is the full list of organizations:
Frances L Simek Memorial Library * Taylor County Fair Grounds * Taylor County Humane Society * Country Gardens Assisted Living * River Source Family Center * Hope Village * Good Shepherd Senior Apartments * Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center * Catkins Animal Rescue * Companion Day Services * Children’s Imaginarium * Patriots K9 of Wisconsin * Marathon County Parks Department * United Way of Portage County’s Diaper Drive * FOCUS * Cranberry Court Assisted Living * Opportunity Development Center (ODC)
Combine that with ongoing volunteerism (Jan 2026 through April) by Prevail Bank employees, a grand total of approximately 589.5 hours (or 2 ½ months (73 8-hour days)) has been contributed to the betterment of our communities so far.
Prevail Bank is passionate about economic development, financial stability, giving back to the communities it serves, and growth for individuals, families, and businesses — making things better in central Wisconsin.
