Juneteenth (June 19) is the nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Being a federal holiday, Prevail Bank offices were closed, but that didn’t stop team members from getting to work on other projects. The nine offices across the state chose different organizations to volunteer at, taking time to connect with each other and to their communities.
“I’m so thankful that our service-minded staff continues to find ways to connect with our communities and our customers,” said President/CEO, Nathan Quinnell. “We are here to make a difference in the lives of our customers and where we live.”
This is the third year Prevail Bank employees took part in Juneteenth activities. Ninety-seven (97) team members volunteered at 16 different locations across the state. Those organizations were:
Catkins Animal Rescue (Phillips) |
United Way (Stevens Point) |
Village of Auburndale |
Bridge Street Mission (Wausau) |
Clark County Rehabilitation & Living Center |
Career Closet (Wisconsin Rapids) |
Eau Claire Sober Living |
Wisconsin Rapids Dog Park |
Taylor County Humane Society |
Habitat for Humanity (Baraboo) |
Paws of Hope (Medford) |
Medford Public Library |
Taylor County Fair Grounds |
Stetsonville Public Library |
ECCHA – Eau Claire Community Humane Association |
Huey’s Hideaway Children’s Museum (Medford) |
Juneteenth is an extension of the volunteerism numerous employees provide throughout the year. Thus far in 2025, 82% of Prevail Bank’s professionals have volunteered a combined 907.5 hours, representing approximately $21,780 in community service value.
Prevail Bank’s goal is to pursue what’s possible within the communities it serves.
